1 minced onion

3 tablespoons Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon poppy seeds

2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce (you can add more to taste)

1 (12 - count) package of Hawaiian sweet rolls, split (add more if needed)

1 pound sliced deli ham (add more if needed)

8 slices Swiss cheese (add more if needed)
Directions

First, gather all your ingredients. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Spray a 9x13 - inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium - low heat. Then, cook and stir the onion in the melted butter until it gets soft. This should take about 5 to 10 minutes.

Add the mustard, poppy seeds, and Worcestershire sauce to the saucepan. Cook and stir for another 5 minutes.

Arrange the bottoms of the rolls in the prepared baking dish. Spoon about 2/3 of the onion mixture over the roll bottoms.

Put ham and cheese on each roll.

Place the roll tops over the cheese layer. Then, brush the remaining onion mixture on top.

Cover the dish with aluminum foil.

Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes. After that, remove the foil and bake until the roll tops are lightly browned. This usually takes 5 to 10 minutes.
